Cuba’s private sector is still young, shaped by decades without independent businesses and only limited opportunities for growth in recent years. Entrepreneurs face steep challenges—restricted access to the internet and international banking, limited supply chains, no formal business schools or training, and few resources to scale their ideas. Despite these barriers, a new generation of Cuban innovators is determined to build and grow businesses that create value for their communities.
